It is a movie. It is an episode. It is a book. It is a mini-series. It is Virtual Reality. It is many realities. It is many stories. It is many people, things and places.
Do you know how much goes on in your dreams?
It is all of the above and more!
Imagine re-playing all that in your minds eye and still having time to watch TV?
No seriously, it’s true.
Ok, I watched a lot of TV when younger.
Except there was a lot less TV to watch.
As time progressed I watched less TV.
Each day there was more TV than before to watch.
Zoom forward two decades and I lost contact with almost two decades of TV.
I made contact with my dreams over that period because life becomes more interesting, as you do and try more things, your life becomes intertwined with other lives, other situations, life becomes overall more involved, and as you progress from childhood into adulthood the responsibilities and commitments arrive into your world more and more, and so do the dreams.
Lots and lots of dreams.
I am sending you a postcard from where I am right now:
Postcard:
The Dreams are incredible, wish you where here!
Imagine how to get there?
It takes time.
When you arrive, what is it like?
Actually you’re already there except, time.
You need to give it some time.
You do not have to stop all TV, but what about 10% less TV a week?
Then devote some of that liberated 10% of time to your dreams.
Try use 1-2% of that time for your dreams, could you actually do it?
Sounds simple right, but is it that simple?
Does it take practice?
Well yes but that also takes, time.
Why not try it out now!
Think first, which dream are you going to think about?
Oh that’s right, you did not record your dreams, you were too busy all those years watching TV!
Well, you do remember this one dream you had one time it was… [start here]
The truth is you hardly paid any attention, they are just dreams, so you did not capture the for later - did you expect someone else to do it?
Probably not, but think about it like this:
Dreams are not TV, where corporate networks have millions upon millions of dollars and millions of people working hard to create and produce content to fill your imagination 24/7, till you collapse in a sleep deprived heap on the floor after gorging on endless visions and stories that have nothing really to do with your own life - but it is entertaining, right?
Look, this is not a TV is bad for your dreams post.
Some TV is a lot like Dreams, and that is actually very cool.
Sometimes TV, film and other mediums intertwine with your dreams.
Even cooler.
What this is about, is how you value your time, and your focus, and how you valued your dreams within that context of your life thus far, with all the other things battling for your mind’s attention.
It is not really only TV, it is also games, social media, streaming, the internet, apps, etc. etc. it is a virtually endless list of endless distractions very much like TV and 99.999% has nothing to do with you exactly, when you stop to think about it.
Your dreams have everything to do with you.
Dreams do not have a mega marketing budget, they do not need it, they have something far better - a direct link, new dreams or dream replays every night or during sleep are delivered right to your mind.
You can not buy that kind of *direct marketing.
So why did you not pay attention to your dreams again?
Oh, yes, that’s right… TV!
Imagine, all those nightly dreams as dramas, plays of your life with many acts, containing life changing messages for free and while sleeping, not interfering with your waking time, how incredibly efficient is that?
Awesomely efficient and beautifully designed if you asked me, but if you missed it, then all of that incredible design efficiency was for nothing, or is it?
Ask yourself this final question,
Is now a good time to start paying attention to my dreams?
Yep!
There is never a wrong time to pay attention to your dreams.
Pay attention and record them the way is best for you right now, tune in and start watching your very own Dream TV for a change and see the stories and secrets, plot twits and all kinds of dramatic interludes about your life for your life before your very own minds eyes.
I gave up TV for all intents and purposes long ago, and it has allowed me write for you, about dreams. I am writing what I know - I hope you enjoyed this one, and maybe it kept you away from the TV for a bit, and you might even have remembered that odd dream you had a few nights ago, do go write it down somewhere safe and then treat yourself by watching not a good movie but a great movie, but before you do, consider sharing this with friends or family - it’s just a thought!
*Yea Elon, I’m looking at you with your Neuralink, we gotta talk.
